Will you get your whole bond deposit back?

The Problem ...
Each week, thousands of tenants across Australia lose money from their bond deposits because their property failed the final inspection. This means it was not cleaned to the property manager’s standard and they hired a cleaner to fix it.
This sucks! Doing your own bond clean is hard. You’ve cleaned your butt off for a day or two in the hope that it is good enough to pass the final inspection. Only to be told that it’s not.
Have you experienced this?
The Solution ...
Sure, there are property managers out there that have very high expectations. But, on the flipside, you also have property managers who’s expectations are way too low (experienced renters, who have been given a dirty property, will know what I mean here).
Whether a property is clean or not will always come down to one person’s opinion. You can’t change this, but you can do something about it.
With a little help, you can learn the basics to getting cleaning results that will pass an inspection.
Use The Bond Clean Book and give yourself the best chance of getting your bond deposit back.

Quick Note on Cleaning Products

Eco Friendly Cleaning Products
If you prefer to use Eco Friendly cleaning products, whether for personal health reasons or environmental reasons, then that is great.
Most supermarkets have eco friendly or plant based options ...
For example, my favourite floor cleaner is plant based and does an amazing job on all floor types. The brand is “Earth”. We also use the Earth laundry liquid and dishwashing liquid.
Or, you can Google "Eco friendly cleaning" ...
There are loads of effective concoctions available to you. Some are quite out there, but most are pretty simple when you follow the instructions. Vinegar and Bicarb Soda, for example, are very popular and have a lot of different uses.
Heavy Duty Cleaning ...
A Bond Clean, or a major Spring Clean, often requires a heavy duty approach. You will generally be cleaning areas that haven’t been cleaned for a long time. And you may need to use cleaning products that pack a punch!
For example – using bicarb soda and vinegar to clean an oven that hasn’t been cleaned for a year, is a real challenge (understatement)!
Whilst some of the cleaning products used in the book are eco friendly, most are not. I use them because they get the job done, often with less ‘elbow grease’. You are welcome to substitute most of them with your preferred eco friendly product.
Once the tough job is done, use eco friendly products for regular maintenance cleaning and you may not need to use the harsh cleaning products again.
